The Rural Restaurant Healthy Options Program is a low cost way of increasing awareness of healthy menu choices at rural restaurants. These menu items are already offered at these restaurants, so they come at no additional cost to the restaurant. The program simply brings awareness through additional signs and suggestions of these options to restaurant patrons.
