From EPPI Centre in the UK, this is a systematic review that identifies barriers and facilitators for healthy eating among children. Policy makers, practitioners, researchers, and families can use this information to increase children’s consumption of healthy foods and overall promote healthy eating practices in schools and at home. However, healthy food options tend to be more costly, both for school lunches and for at home grocery shopping, and this tool does not address equity of access to healthy foods.
